Key Tasks:
Position will work primarily in Revit in creation of appropriate level of details in architectural and interior designs. Assists with preparation of presentation and construction documents for meetings and attends meetings as appropriate. Responds to redlines and makes changes to documents to ensure overall quality. Reports daily and weekly progress to project team and manager. Takes responsibility for delivering 100% models and construction documents and ensuring reviews take place (at mid point and end point) before documents are submitted to client or contractor. Takes initiative in problem solving on documents and ensuring quality delivery. Understands hours and budgets on the project and works within those parameters. Ability to work within fast-paced project schedules and need to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Understanding of coordination of consultants and contractors and beginning level communications with consultants and contractors as directed. Some level of work in project management in conjunction with account management or overall management. Clear communications through written forms and verbal.
Knowledge Required:
Familiarity of the architectural design, codes and construction process required. Solid architectural design and drafting skills. Some knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical and acoustical engineering and building codes. Excellent working knowledge of Revit.
