Yum! Kitchen and Bakery opens a Shea-designed St. Paul location

Yum! Kitchen and Bakery is a longtime Shea client, with thriving locations in St. Louis Park and Minnetonka. 2021 marks the opening of the cafe and bakery’s third spot, a return to home for owners Patti and Robbie Soskin. Located at Selby and Snelling, in a corner spot just across from where Patti’s father grew up and operated his own business. In a new building on the former O’Gara’s site, the warm restaurant features welcoming groupings of communal seating in a bright, airy atmosphere, just waiting for customers to sit down with slices of the famed Patticake. And an all-season patio welcomes diners no matter the conditions–whether it’s a picturesque summer day or they’re taking in a snowglobe-inspired winter scene.
