A new steak and seafood restaurant from Randy and Sharon Stanley, owners of 6Smith and Baldamar, is heading to Edina’s Southdale Center. The mall’s ownership, Simon Property Group, announced the news, sharing the restaurant will have its own entrance and 200 seats. Although still in development, the restaurant is planned to open in 2026.
As Southdale undergoes a multimillion-dollar renovation, including the addition of a luxury wing, the Stanleys’ new restaurant will bring a welcomed, elevated concept to enhance the mall’s dining scene. Shea is proud to be partnering with the team on the design of the upcoming restaurant, having previously partnered with the Stanleys to design Baldamar in Roseville.
