Project Architect/Project Manager

Shea seeks an experienced, full-time Project Architect with a minimum of 8 years’ experience to join our dynamic team. Candidates should excel at working in a team and with clients, leading and managing teams, production and review of design documents, and coordinating and maintaining schedule and budget. Experience in restaurant/retail/hospitality/creative corporate preferable.

Senior Interior Designer

Our office seeks a Senior Interior Designer with minimum 8 years of experience in the fields of restaurant and hospitality, retail, and corporate/workplace environments.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has excellent time-management skills to balance several project deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have strong design sensibilities with outstanding visual and verbal presentation skills.   Primary responsibilities will include development of conceptual, schematic, and design packages, and moving into the production of construction documents under the direction/collaboration of a Design Director, depending on level of experience.

Candidate must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fields of restaurant and hospitality, retail, and workplace including interior materials, finishes, furniture, and equipment. Experience in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is required.

Interior Designer

Project Coordinator

Shea is hiring a full-time Project Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our team, ensuring that projects comply with the highest of architectural and design standards. Must excel in working in conjunction with project teams, engineers, and government organizations, as well as putting clients first when it comes to design. Experience in restaurant/retail/hospitality/corporate a plus; architectural/design experience a must.

Architectural Technician

Full-time architectural technician with at least 5 years’ experience responsible for development and implementation of architectural design concepts, layouts and details under the supervision of an Architect, Project Manager or Designer. Will prepare schematic, design development and construction documents with thorough knowledge and skills in Revit including 3D Modeling, documentation set up and detailing, implementing redlines and an understanding of code.  Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fields of restaurant and hospitality, retail, corporate and financial services.

Position will work primarily in Revit in creation of appropriate level of details in architectural and interior designs. Assists with preparation of presentation and construction documents for meetings and attends meetings as appropriate. Responds to redlines and makes changes to documents to ensure overall quality. Reports daily and weekly progress to project team and manager. Takes responsibility for delivering 100% models and construction documents. Takes initiative in problem solving on documents and ensuring quality delivery.  Ability to work within fast-paced project schedules and need to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Understanding of coordination of consultants and contractors and beginning level communications with consultants and contractors as directed.

Familiarity of the architectural design, codes and construction process required. Solid architectural design and drafting skills. Some knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical and acoustical engineering and building codes. Excellent working knowledge of Revit.
