Former New York chef Gavin Kaysen’s North Loop hotspot Spoon and Stable has been named the Restaurant of the Year by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Lauded for its seasonal ingredients, classic-but-contemporary approach, and “beauty of a dining venue,” the Shea-designed restaurant was also nominated for the 2015 James Beard Awards in the Best New Restaurant and Outstanding Restaurant Design categories. It continues to be packed with eager diners every night and is sure to continue to flourish.
