The changing leaves, the chill in the air—fall is officially upon the Twin Cities, and restaurant-opening season is in full swing. Rick Nelson, the Star Tribune food critic, recently released a list of the fall’s most-anticipated openings, and Shea has two whoppers on the list: Lucky Cricket, the Asian-street-food-inspired spot in St. Louis Park’s West End from celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern, and the project at the historic 510 Groveland building, a stunner of a space that will be helmed by Twin Cities restaurant group Jester Concepts and Mike DeCamp. Naturally, both will be beyond cool, so keep your eye out on Instagram.
