Camera aficionados Red Cinema partnered with Shea to provide architectural services for their new location in Miami, Florida. The team developed the existing industrial shell to reflect the neighborhood’s passion for art galleries and graffiti, emphasizing the high quality cameras as the heroes of the retail space. Shea created additional office and inventory space, as well as a multi-purpose training and conference room, which features a large, sliding wooden pocket door that expands the entire space when open. Specific lighting was used to highlight the blockbuster movie posters on the wall, which serve as a reminder that Red cameras are responsible for a number of famous films. A vintage cop car is parked inside to provide a subject for customers to test the cameras on, and is the perfect way to complete the cinematic atmosphere.
