Middle Eastern chef Sameh Wadi knows that Minnesotans are tough, and he’s ready to let them prove it by opening up shop at Milkjam Creamery in early January. The chef/co-owner of Saffron Restaurant & Lounge and World Street Kitchen is a longtime Shea partner, and we’re completing the trifecta with the ice cream shop, located in Minneapolis’ Lyn-Lake neighborhood. Wadi plans to feature American, French, and vegan-based ice creams in fresh, inventive flavors, as well as soda fountain classics and floats featuring Champagne and beer.
