Diners lined the block for the opening of Chi-Chi’s in St. Louis Park’s West End, the first location for the relaunched restaurant after closing over 20 years ago. The restaurant officially opened October 6th, and the dining room quickly packed full of guests craving nostalgic favorites like the chimichangas and fried ice cream. We’re proud to have partnered with owner Michael McDermott to design the new look for Chi-chi’s. Like the menu, it includes nods to memorable details of Chi-Chi’s past, including plants suspended in macrame hangers, bold patterns and a custom wallcovering featuring the Chi-Chi’s hot air balloon. However, a fresh take on the design brings a lighter and brighter feel to the space with a modern touch for the next generation of diners.
