Charlie’s Minneapolis Club brings the nostalgia

Charlie’s Exceptionale was one of downtown’s most storied restaurants, opening in 1933 with a potato salad to die for. The ivy-covered Minneapolis Club has stood proudly downtown since 1883, bringing a historic grandness to the city. And now, the two Minneapolis stalwarts have merged, at Charlie’s Minneapolis Club, a Shea-designed restaurant nodding to the institution and helmed by famed chef Jamie Malone.
