Marketing Intern

Shea is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the marketing field within the architecture and design industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in design, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong understanding of social media and digital marketing tools and a curiosity for consumer related industries including restaurants, retail, hospitality and workplace.

    As Marketing Intern at Shea, you assist in developing Shea communications both internally and externally. Internally, your work will build company culture via corporate communications and keep the staff active in sharing and receiving information. Externally, you’ll assist in developing opportunities for Shea and its employees to be seen—in the media, online and marketing materials.

    This role provides the exciting opportunity to interact with every project that Shea touches while obtaining hands-on, marketing experience in a professional and creative environment.

    Key Tasks:

    • •  Grow our social media presence through planning and scheduling posts, creating engaging content and interacting with clients and followers

    • •  Collaborate on the production of marketing materials including our quarterly magazine, authored articles and case studies

    • •  Monitor and report on content performance and make recommendations for improvements

    • •  Conduct market research and analyze industry trends in our core business segments

    • •  Support the development of internal communications and news sharing

    • •  Assist in organizing and segmenting contact database for focused marketing campaigns

    • •  Proof-read outgoing written copy maintaining a high-level of attention to detail and ensuring a consistent brand voice across materials

    • •  Support additional marketing efforts as needed; website management, coordinating project photography, completing award submittals, etc.

    We’re Looking For:

    • •  Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field

    • •  Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • •  Proficient with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

    • •  Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

    • •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • •  Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

    • •  Passion for architecture and interior design is a bonus
