Macy’s Herald Square

Shea has been involved with the store-wide renovation of Macy’s Herald Square since 2013, and has created a unique and dynamic food market concept to occupy the entire lower level. Shea partnered with the historic store and the Patina Restaurant Group to design Rowland’s, a sit-down bar and grill, along with Chef Street, a food court using food truck-inspired stations to bring the classic energy of New York street food into the building and Macy’s shopping experience. The new restaurants nod to Macy’s history and classic Americana vibe, while looking towards what today and tomorrow’s shoppers are looking for in a dining experience.
