Indianapolis Restaurant + Hospitality Design

Shea in Indianapolis
Our team partnered with Huse Culinary on 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo in Carmel, a 200-seat, post-Prohibition-inspired restaurant and bar that’s received wide praise for its detailed, immersive design.
We also designed 1933 Lounge + HC Tavern at Indianapolis International Airport, blending two beloved concepts into a single elevated airport dining experience. And our Huse partnership continues: we recently designed Harry & Izzy’s first location outside of Indiana, opened in Paradise Valley, AZ.
With the team at Rootstock Hospitality, we transformed a former Granite City location to be unrecognizable as it became Aberdeen Social House, with a private whiskey bar, Ash.
And back at IND airport, we partnered with SSP America to create The Farmers' Market, providing a space for Indiana Grown members to showcase their locally grown produce to travelers with a seasonal menu of dishes.
From a legendary steakhouse brand’s newest concept to immersive airport dining, Shea extends brand through physical space with every touchpoint serving as a way to reach guests.
Indianapolis design work
Let's talk
Shea is a multidisciplinary design firm that transforms ideas into high-performing design, aligning strategy, space, and business goals from the start. We create consumer-focused environments for restaurants, hospitality, retail, private clubs, wellness, and workplaces; spaces where experience and impact matter.
Together with SheaMakes—our in-house production and implementation team—we bring more than 50 architects, interior designers, brand and graphic designers, and production experts together as one. The result: ideas stay true, handoffs stay tight, and the vision is realized.
We’ve been building in Indianapolis and we’re not slowing down. Whether you’re developing a new concept, planning a renovation, or thinking about your next move, we’d love to hear about it.
