Spoonriver, a pioneering Minneapolis restaurant in terms of sustainable and locally sourced food, will end its 14-year run in December, entrusting its space to the new Minnesota Farmers’ Union/Birchwood Alliance to create an exciting new restaurant concept for 2020 that will continue the Spoonriver legacy. Shea has been tapped to create the concept and design, bringing together the MFU and Birchwood Cafe as they expand their partnership into the restaurant space.
