Macy’s Herald Square honored by the Urban Land Institute

Shea has partnered with Macy’s stores across the country to create dining options for customers that are sleek, classy, and perfectly in keeping with the Macy’s brand. The remodeling of the company’s flagship store in Manhattan’s Herald Square is a $400-million project, and Shea’s been involved since the beginning, tapped to create three new restaurants as well as temporary dining solutions during the renovation. The redevelopment of the 114-year-old store has been named a finalist in the Urban Land Institute’s Awards for Excellence in Development—congratulations to the entire Macy’s team and everyone involved in the exciting, extensive project!
