Though plans for a full, Shea-designed restaurant from the Minnesota Farmers Union and Birchwood Cafe were put on hold when the pandemic hit, there’s still something new coming! The former Spoonriver restaurant on the Mississippi River will temporarily be home to F+B, a pop-up featuring Birchwood menu standouts along with favorites from the MFU/Birchwood State Fair collaboration–and a few spins on Spoonriver classics. Opening this Thursday, keep an eye out for Shea-designed graphics and branding to put a fresh face on the space.
