Marketing and Communications Manager

About The Job

As the leader of Marketing and Communications at Shea, you oversee all Shea communications both internally and externally. Internally, you work to build company culture via corporate communications, planning and executing company events, and keeping the staff active in sharing and receiving information. Publicly, you create opportunities for Shea and its employees to be seen—in the media, online, in marketing materials.

The Marketing and Communications role provides the exciting opportunity to interact with every project that Shea touches—and it’s your job to know and understand all of those details, and be ready to use that knowledge at a moment’s notice in a wide variety of applications.

You wear a lot of hats and are always available to help in any way: researching a client, trend, or topic; writing or proof-reading a presentation; writing narrative for a RFP; aiding clients in their media-strategy efforts, assisting in brand strategy for our clients. You’re a team player, ready to put helping others and work for clients ahead of all else, but also a self-starter, using field awareness to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead while pursuing projects that expand the public Shea presence. Because that’s your job above all—managing the Shea brand, both publicly and internally, and directing marketing and communications efforts to showcase excellence.
